If you want to race it is always a good idea to concentrate on one car. If you have a B4 already don't worry about upgrading it before you have raced it. Even the RS versions don't need much doing to them to make them really good for club racing.

What do you need 6 packs of lipos for??? 3 is plenty to get you through most races. Much better to invest in tyres and track time if you want to get into racing than blinging out the cars to the max before starting racing.

If you want to use the MadRat just plop the B4 shocks on it and get some lead for it too. Then ask around for some setup help and run it in stock class to get a hang of things first.

As a rule of thumb you can multiply the number of turns on a brushless by two to get the brushed equivalent. i.e. 5.5turn brushless = 10-11turn brushed.

Brushed or brushless doesn't have much to do with feeling the point at which the battery dumps. You have to be really carefull running brushed speedos with lipo as most brushed speedos do not have the lipo cutoff function.

If you run the brushed motors on 11.1V lipos they will most likely just break.
