I don't get why HPI/HB didn't basically do that with the Ve8. You are really limited on battery choice due to the inbalance created in that set-up.
This looks good though. Any chance there's decent radio gear in there this time, because, at those speeds, the steering servo and radio better be up to it!
As Mark says, HPI used a good ESC/Motor combo, like the Savage Flux, really nice they decided to use Castle stuff, even if they had to rebrand it.
If it's the right price, I'd happily recommend them to people looking for 1/8 Brushless.
One other thing; on the linked page, it says use a minimum of 25C Lipo packs, yet it is designed to use Ni-MH cells too. They don't have anywhere near a 25C discharge rate, yet people are fine to run them?
