I tigthen it the same as jhammond describes.
Only thing I do different as desvribed in the manual, is insert two lock nuts per diff. This keeps the lock nuts from stripping, since I have during diff rebuilds, stripped about 6 nuts by now when using the single lock nut methode. Since I am using the double lock nut methode I haven't stripped a single nut
