Sounds like your from my era!.. I just got back into it in April... Richard Isherwood was our local hero! last car I had was a cat xl, still got it! Yeah things have moved on, what with lipos and brushless. The thing that really got me was the leap forward in batterys... When I stoped racing the highest capacity battery was around 1400mah! Im racing an X6 now. Its really good to drive. I never used to get on with the 2wd stuff back then but this seems different. Lipos are great, theres no messing around, discharging and cylcling like there usedto be. Brushless is great too, maintainence free!
