I don't think sensorless motors work with sensored speedos, but the other way around they do generally, ie sensored motors without the cables run in sensorless mode with sensorless speedos. When I first got my sensored esc/motor and was new to things I got the motor and the sensor cable was missing so I just wired it up without and all it did was make the speedo hot, the motor didn't even turn.

You'd probably be better off sorting the losi motor out, they are a great little motor those. If it's a seized bearing you can open it up and swap the bearing easily enough.
