Maybe you and I define hardware differently. I thought a chip/processor was a piece of hardware?
Admittedly I don't know the details and maybe there are some subtle differences to the main hardware components, but I still think your statement of "mac's don't use PC hardware at all" is far fetched.
Please don't think I'm trying to knock Apple users or computers, just expressing an opinion.

the OP said macs are using the same hardware as PCs now. which they aren't. it's just made by the same company. it might use the same chips, but it's not the same hardware.  |
