The '08 as it is being called is the original X11 with some mid-production improvements. Most notably the big-bore shocks and some other reliability improvements, I believe.
There isn't an official '09 spec, yet. I am kind of hoping that happens ... or maybe an X11 '10
The exchange rates are sort-of back to normal so it makes the Pred less unafordable for those of us in the USA
