The only difference between the original 501X shocks and the TRF hop-ups are the shafts. The #54028 ones are a few mm longer, these are the same shocks used on the 501X WE.

The bodies are the same length so the compression travel issue remains on the DB-01 towers.

You can compensate for the longer shafts with a few more spacers. Personally I was running the shocks so that rear droop saw the centre of the wheel axle just above level with the bottom of the chassis, and front droop was a couple of mm higher than that. Gave a good ride and the dogbones didn't fall out of the back.
