Pro Dif rebuilding help
I wonder if any of the Pros can shed light on re-building difs, and maintenance.
I am re-building mine every 6 runs, so would like to make sure I am doing it the correct way. I clean it all out with motor spray. I only clean the thrust race one in three times. I apply a moderate amount of moly lube on the thrust race. I sparingly apply silicone dif lube on both sides of the washer plates of the main part.
I picked up space dif, the Schuie ready built one, and noticed it is packed with silicone on the washers. Tempted to rebuild the thing my self.
Any tips would be great.
