Budfish do you even know who Jamie is?
He's a well known & respected guy who's been around RC for a very long time & by the sounds of it he has replaced Mat's speedo weather he had to or not!
So what's your problem with Jamie & LRP? Have you personally had bad experiences with his customer service?
Warranty's aren't as simple as people think, Jamie doesn't make the speedos he just distributes them and will have set criteria he must meet to be able to repair or replace a speedo, which will be set by the manufacturer not him!
I thought LRP stopped the life time warranty on the Sphere TC anyway, I know my ones had a 25 year warranty!
One more thing why do you think LRP have changed there Warranty's?
I suspect its because people have taken advantage for to long sending 2nd & 3rd hand speedo's back & getting a new ones in return.
LRP's warranty's are just as good if not better than there competitors!
