There are far better ways of explaining the situation, perhaps along the lines of "unfortunately, a side effect of us protecting our customers by providing a voltage cutoff is that with some cells the cutoff is triggered by the high current burst in certain situations if their voltage drops too low. It's not ideal but unfortunately it's the only way to play safe and not risk discharging too far. For information we would recommend using batteries of x C rating and xxxxmah when using this feature. Obviously we'll look into how to make that point clear to buyers"

I paid £95 for LRP products earlier today, and boy do I wish I could reverse that now. Certainly puts me off buying LRP for the esc I'm currently looking for!
