Agree with Trish, diffs are an important tuning aid in 4WD.
From what ive been told, and taught, you want the front diff to be as tight as you can get it so that it doesnt slip but rotates well. the rear would then be slightly looser.
However, Craig Harris told me awhile ago that running a loose front in a micro Shark ST would give more turn in (as Trish has stated) but would also not slip under accelration as most the acceleration was done from the rear...
Its really a case of trial and error...only then can you honestly experience all options and how they feel to you and your B44.
