unfortunately, a few weeks later, I had a bit of a 'blow up' and destroyed the cells; I only had a mains charger, so I needed to charge up all the cells before leaving the house. I could walk to the club venue, so I packed the cells into my toolbox... with a steel hacksaw resting on top.

you can guess what happened at the first kerb...
