4WD is a different matter. Again Schum MiniPins Yellow in the rear (First outer row cut) and on the front tires .... up to you to get a balanced car.
I used worn Minispikes or severely cut minipins.

Another option for 4wd is using a 4wd front mini-pin in the rear and using 2wd mini-pin in the front. Some use staggerds in the front of a 4wd to make it easier to drive.
In 2wd most use minipins in the rear and staggerds in the front, but there are some people who are daft enough to try to use 4wd front mini-pins as a 2wd rear tire
