I have tried Losi pistons in Associated shocks. The losi pistons have three holes in them as standard. tried hole sizes of 54 and 55 in the rear which I believe are the blue and orange ones and tried 55 and 56 in the front which are orange and red in colour.

54's in the rear with 30wt and 56's in the front with 35wt oil seemed to work pretty well from my experimenting, Whether it's any quicker round the track than associated's 1's and 2's I don't really know.

Only way to find out is to try for yourself, just don't get lost with trying to many differen't things.
