The reason for my design is simple. Here in the states we usually have two types of track surface. Indoor Clay usually moist or damp with very high traction.
Out of the box the truck will run well on that surface but here is where it comes into play, put it on a dusty loamy track and its a complete different animal against a Slash no forward bite slides around tail happy compared to the Slash because the Slash has the rear steel gear diff weight. Not to mention the Slash also has a full battery tray to use for different battery positions the SC10 does not unless you trim the foam and let the battery gain the 3/4 an inch to sit on the battery stop. JMO but we are fighting traction here.
