looking at the breakages, it seems to be a factor of two things.

1. Depth of the countersink, leaving it very thin in that area

2. Insufficient gearbox bracing.

The two allow it to flex, and due the T-Piece being stiff, it is snapping along the line of the front suspension brace.

I think to fully rectify the problem, you would need to beef the material up, in that area, plus give better bracing to the rear gearbox.
