this is very interesting because i started building my 6^2 right shock tower and noticed the ripple effects too.
when i built the left shock tower, there was no ripple.
upon closer inspection, below are the visual differences:-
1. right wing mount (with ripple) has a lighter grey colour while the left wing mount (w/o ripple) has a richer dark black colour. they could be a different production batch, i don't know.
2. looking at how the 2 wing mounts sit on the shock tower, the right (grey) mount sits flushed but i can see the tiniest sliver of light between the webbing (between the 2x screw threads) and the shock tower. the left (black) mount - everything on the wing mount sits flushed against the shock tower.
just sharing my visual observation.
