popped into local screw/nut/bolt merchant and asked for a slack handfull of 4/40 spring washers and got them for free
Seetled on 20 rather than the 2,000 that would have been a slack handfull so I haven't any to spare
hindsight, should have got the 2,000 and sold them on ebay
