I can understand why someone might think it beneith them to marshal a race. Particularly the best racers who tend to get us novices snapping at their ankles. It's odd, though that those same 'pro's' seem to be the ones who complain most when a marshal doesn't see there car in trouble.
To be fair, I've only raced club nights at York and I haven't come up against this problem. Maybe everyone's just more chilled over there!
