it really depends what you want.
in the wet, run them so that the masses of spikes are to the outside with the stock foam inserts.
in the dry, you can run them so the lesser spikes are to the outside, and defo chop some rows off, a harder foam might be good too.
it does seem to be the trend now to switch to Schum Yellow Mini-Pins in the dry on astro so I would mount the angles up with the many spikes to the outside
