yes, i was disappointed he wasn't awarded at least an end of season finals for the past couple of years.
Isn't there something in the rules about a track having to prove it runs a big meeting before being given a national? I know Lee's track hasn't met this yet, but neither has the Tally track, this was it's first meeting wasn;t it in the new location, and last year was it's first ever?
It will be a shame to lose a great track, but for once Darren does have an almost legitimate point in that if no meetings are planned to run there it will be hard to make a case for it. It certainly helped in my decision to run in a different region this year.

I thought Trish and Co did an OK job of running things last year. The track requires little work as long as it is dry weather. It's just the race control side of things that need organising which John Cockill usually does very smoothly.

I hope you find a way to keep it running
