These are replacement O-rings for your shocks. Each to their own but for me, the stock ones compressed too much during assembly which resulted in too much stiction for my liking (stiction = resistance caused by the o-ring friction on the shock shaft)
The Nortech Whities are slightly thinner which means that they don't have to compress as much during assembly. They also might be a slightly different material (shore hardness?) but that's getting a bit too technical for me. All I know is that they made my shocks work nicer.
