This is just the sort of thread and posts I expect from some racers these days!! Fair points on track opinions, I haven't been there so I'm not in a position to comment on "Is NRX suitable for 10th racing??" For once Lee seems the most level headed on the opinions shared, thats a complement Lee, I think, lol!
I really don't know why people bother putting any effort into organising events, or even putting meetings on at all. Its the same old sh*te time and time again, complaining about this and that if a meeting isn't to the exacting standards, apparently require these days. I thought racing was meant to be for enjoyment, certainly not for organisers anymore. These people give up their free time and expense, at times sacrificing work and family commitments to put meetings on for you guys to dissect every aspect that isn’t to your liking. I’m not going into specific comments made here, but some thing’s mentioned are a complete joke and it makes you wonder what has happened to common sense! (no one comment targeted, before I here the reasons behind everyones justification for their comments, not interested!!).
I for one will never help organise a regional event (from previous experience), its just not worth putting the effort in and I'm sure many more organisers are starting to feel this way. It’s a real shame people don’t just make the most of these meetings, and dare I say it, offer to help out if something isn’t to your liking. This thread is a really good example of today’s selfish society!!
Advice for organisers = Don’t bother your arses
