The body follows the lines of the original - in that it's symmetrical side to side so there is a gap - but do what I did. I disposed of the body posts and now use velcro to secure my shell. Along with some well placed foam that is readily available it stops the ingress of any foreign object and weighs virtually nothing.

done that with the original durga shell, and the water still gets in... the Baldre shell just fits tight and stops the moisture getting in. Like Dom, I would rather run a less radical shell, and have a dry innards, than a sleeker shell, and get wet, inside.
