I use the knife with the big red handle for EVERYTHING!
just find that its easier to handle. I never bother changing the blade either, I just re-sharpen it.

Thanks rob, I quite enjoyed doing that shell too, all the women on it were all hand cut. I used to use the plotter at work for doing stuff for masks, but I no longer have access to it now that i dont work there. so everythings hand cut. even wording etc.

I find that cutting the designs on the shell is quicker for me. By the time I've designed it all on the computer and then cut it out I could have done it all on the shell already. Its more convenient to use a plotter if you want to do various shells with the same design though.
