Cant agree with any of this, If it bursts into flames it might be in your house when you are charging it, can you honestly say you watch it for the whole duration of the charge, I go for a cup of tea at least once. Also as the question comes from someone who is new to lipo.s would he notice anything wrong or the car slowing down if it was on a slower part of the track.
£10 for a bag £20 for a smart stop is cheaper than the damage that could result
