i have ben runing touring at BIWS where lipo, brushless and sintered are allowed, seen std rotors go but no sintered and i have not seen or heard of sintered failing, to be honest i have also been told sintered are more important in the lower winds ie 5.5 and 4.5 cuz of the rpm,(which prob rings true to tc) but that all do benifit from running em.
the way sintered is made makes then more durable
some site are claiming if you run sintered the blue temp wire on novak an be removed to prevent thermalling
defo my mamba has them and they do go well
