I'd like to thank all of you who have taken the time to offer up your advice. I have finally opted for an LRP Sphere 7.5 combo (from JESpares), I'll let you know how I get on with it

All installed and set up today, very straight forward, no issues at all
however no pinion fitted so not run yet.
