we also ran LRP at the EBOR24, except we used the 'budget' speedo, the LRP Bullet Reverse, and an X11 motor (8.5) - again, we used the same speedo and motor for the whole 24 hours

we also ran the LRP 5300 LiPo's for 24 hours too, no difference in performance over the whole 24 hours.

I strongly believe that LRP are the best in the business, people will come back and say that I am sponsored by them and thats why I say that, but that is not the reason that I have run LRP before they sponsored me, and thats why I have been running LRP at the sharp end of competition since 2000. I have never been let down by a speedo during this time. the only races I don't finish are when I snap the car

lastly - answer your origional question

Speedo - LRP Sphere Comp (don't need 'TC' eddution for 2WD)
Motor - LRP X12 7.5 (X11 series are still very good and can be picked up at a good price
Batts - LRP 5300 LiPo (from the BRCA list)

depending how confident you feel, you might want to motor-down a bit on my recomendations
