Throttle is disrupted to warn you then a bright light brings the car to a halt. Handy if you,ve got an old speedo without built in voltage protection. Easy connection just solder the red and black wires to your speedo/battery connectors then plug your speedo into the smart stop and the smart stop into the reciever . This is a very good condition used item About 10 runs. If you are not happy with it you can post it back to me for a full refund inc postage.
