i'm sorry to say but
every 'pair' of x-6 wing mounts i ever bought (4 in total) were absolute rubbish. they were different heights left to right, not at the same level, different looking material left to right - hopeless... and they broke too easily (bolts pulling out of the holes)
and yes, i did fit them properly....
as Jon said - we all went to losi or HB D4 mounts and didn't have one problem.
seems to me that some thought and money should have been spent in this area on some well designed, decent quality tooling for the x-6 sq. or at least a redesign of the part itself to make it more consistent (i'd have prefered if they were done properly for the MK1 X-6 but there you go....
)
shouldn't they just work without any mucking about ? (like most other wing mounts) or is it expected to have to fix these issues as part of the build ?
