i've downloaded the manuals for both 501X and 501XWE
and these are the measurements.
501X
front piston rod 36.5mm
rear piston rod 45.4mm
501XWE
front piston rod 40.7mm (same length as the buggy trf hop-up dampers)
rear piston rod 49.6mm (same length as the buggy trf hop-up dampers)
(on a side note, i was just thinking maybe the 501X piston rods are more suitable to be used on the DB01. not only will it prevent the rear drive shafts from popping, you know what happen if you are using the cvd, and the other good thing is that you don't have to use any o-rings)
