I assume you're talking about the front wheels stripping?

I don't know about spoked wheels but there's a few ways to make wheels last longer. I noticed the thread on the stub axle doesn't go down far enough so the nut stops before it's tight on the wheel, so on mine I put a large washer on before the wheelnut (big enough to fit over the axle) and I havn't stripped a Losi wheel since. Dan runs the Ballistic Buggy wheels on his X5 which are thicker therefore don't require the washer, the hex part of the wheel is a bit deeper too. The only problem is they're a bit ugly, doesn't really matter on an X5 though
Another method I can see working (havn't tried it yet, I think it's Bathy that does this...?) is to put a longer roll pin through the axle and cut a slot into the wheel to accept it.
