Default TRF 501X review car

This is the actual car I reviewed a while ago now - I have two 501X's, one which is going as a shelf queen and this one which is for sale here.

This car is an original 501X with the smaller belts and pulleys - still goes well ofcourse and I've raced it recently at Worksop with lipo and 6.5 brushless.

The car is currently ready for the trakpower 3200mah saddles I was using - the battery posts are dremelled flat and raised up 1mm. To use 'normal' nimh cells you can just remove the 1mm washers.

Comes with rear OPTIMIZED gearbox cover - which does an excellent job of prolonging the diff life. Diffs have ceramic balls.

Comes with a one way installed - also a spare diff and a couple of spare pulleys. There's four new centre pulleys in packets and two new belts - with a couple of used belts also. New front shock tower spare.

Brand new shell and undertray - the body is painted but never used or mounted

A few other misc bits that I could find. Car is shown without hexes (I forgot to put them on) but they're included of course. Same with the rear shock height adjusters - taken off for indoors racing but are included.

I won't mess about - the car has seen plenty of use but hasn't really been run last year apart from a couple of meetings. Plenty of scratches on the chassis etc. Certainly not brand new but in decent condition as you can see.
Got a few new bits on it, towers, front shocks, bumper, wing mounts etc etc. Freshly rebuilt.

130quid or best offer - fiver for postage. Can take it to WORKSOP this weekend if anyones interested.

Whoop, I should add that car was modified for rear shocks - rear wishbones drilled and other small mods to enable the rear shock setup. Put it back to standard spec when rebuilding tho.
