AND ... (now it gets realy confusing) ... in Belgium,
part of the people speak German (very small part) in the regions that are close to Germany,
Part of it speaks French, in the south-eastern side of the country. These people are also called Walloons (and their "brand" of French is called Walloon)
And then in the mostly north-western part, the people speak Dutch. These people are called Flemish (and their "brand of Ducth is called Flemish).
For us, Flemish and Dutch people it is more simple because we call the country: "Nederland" and the language "Nederlands".
Even more confusing: The country you call Germany, calls it selves Deutchland and their language "Deutch" (which you call German).
Acyually don't know why you crazy Brits call this language Nederlands Dutch and Deutch German. It is you who seem the make a messof those things
