It shouldn't really be about disctance travelled, more about the venue and host club. And i they're good then I will travel.

Surely it's about people turning up to compete against the best drivers around, and also their mates.
Quite a few people from other regions turn up / have turned up to our region because at one-time we had a tough region. We used to have the highest number of F1 drivers at nationals and regionals were uber-competitive.

Rather than people slating off venues before they race at them / travel to them. Let the comittee decide the venues and then if you don't want to go, don't go.
