Then there is the 501X, which looks very good. Belt drive cars don't hold up well on our tracks so I can't make the comparison because nobody owns that car around here.

This isn't a Tamiya (I know the Durga is, but the Durango isn't), the company is called Durango, it's a couple of European guys. This is designed as a pure bred racer, so isn't really comparable to a Tamiya Durga!
