true but only a small chance. If you dont remove the sludge you can get build up in the radiator effectively reducing the heat they throw out if they become blocked. I should have mentioned I also use a product that finds small weeps and seals them, just as a precaution.

B gas would not replace my pump as they said it was not covered for damage caused by internal corrosion within the pipes ie the rusting of the steel radiators. Im not a plumber but then again again I dont need to pay their expensive costs to replace pumps ect with just a about 2 hrs work every 18 months
