Yup, LiPo sacks can be real lifesavers and do a good job of containing flames. LiPo is incredibly safe as long as you just don't abuse the cells (just like NiMH), but there are always going to be accidents.
There used to be loads of hysteria about LiPos being apparently lethal and dangerous, but thankfully that's died down now. Ya just have to treat them with respect.
