How much time do the cars spend on their roof with the existing motors in.?
I did the a similiar thing. Blamed getting beaten on slower motor. In reality, poorly set up car, inexperienced driving and ZX5 standard.
Solution: - Got better at driving, upgraded the ZX5 to an SP, learnt more about set ups and asked for help, then put a Novak 5.5R in. EP4200 cells. Plenty quick enough.
What type of track is it. Indoor, Outdoor. Type of surface. Where are you losing time, can't just be on the straight?
And finally, 2 weeks ago, I got my ass handed to me by a 13.5 motor. The guy was just a better driver!
