I don't know about others that made the long (ish) haul to worksop, but I was dissapointed. But first the good points: the track (especially the surface) was superb, even the wierd "features" were nice purely because they were different. The venue was good (after the power was sorted out) and the lasses in the bar calling everyone "duck" and bread buns and sandwiches "cobs" always had a smile. However, the bad points: we did pre-book via the e-mail posted earlier in this thread and 2 of the 3 failed to get pre-booked so we had to pay the stupidly expensive £10 rather than £7 to race. So after that was sorted, we filled our details in on bits of paper and the heat listings went up, only for us to be missed off again!!

4 long hours after the doors opened, the racing manged to get under way ( but not before untested transponder issues, incorrect starting lines and other totally forseeable problems held us back) and we were told that it would be 2 rounds and a final for £10!! Not overly impressed at all! Still, fair play the the guys running the meet - once it was under way, things improved alot and 3 rounds and a final were ran with me making 9th in the A and crashing out on the first lap!!

All said and done, I did enjoy the day alot but it should have been so much better!
