I think most use Rayspeed aluminum hubs (I use Trinity) to keep the bling factor going. They also come in .5* and 1* versions where stock B4 plastic hubs don't come in anything other than 0*. There is no problem using stock plastic hubs, one of my buddies uses them and his car is still dialed. The ballstud on the hub is higher, so you need to shim the camber plate up a bit more.
For the front universals you should get the HARD version from Yokomo, they are way better than the originals, and I don't really think there is a better option. I got mine here:
