I have been thinking of getting back into buggy racing again for the first time since about 1992. I used to own a procat, rc10, works 91 etc.
Batley would be my local club and I was wondering if someone could answer a few questions for me about the club.
- Does the club race weekly evenings or is it just weekend meetings?
- How many people particpate in the typical meeting?
- What is the spread of driver quality like (eg are there quite a few "beginners" as well as those who are very competitive.)?
- What would you say is the split between 2wd and 4wd runners.
Any other useful info you could give me on race formats etc and what cars people run would be much appreciated. I have been reading around with the aim of getting myself some half decent 2nd hand gear to start off again with. I can't believe what I'm reading about battery capacity - in my day 1700 SCE's were the best you could get
and now you lot are using more than twice that

Would there be a good time to come down and watch the racing and have a general chat about how the club works etc?
