During my final, my pit crew were shouting for me, but it was SO loud that it is virtually impossible to have shouts of encouragement and banter - there is some great comedy shouting to be had at 10th electric nationals and the like and I thought it was missing.
The LOoooooooooooooooooong finals and pit stops made it impossible to know who was winning in any race without looking at a computer screen - so again no shouting or anything (not that they could hear).
I think the issue of being hit is dependant on the driver involved. I almost had my head taken off by a truggy a few weeks ago, the driver came straight over after the race and apologised. Most drivers I know would do the same thing, not sure why they didn't apologise to you though.

As for the noise, what do you expect from a nitro meeting indoors... There is usually noise from the pit crew, and outdoors they are not too difficult to hear. The atmosphere at the Nationals is pretty good, it is better when Andy Taylor is commentating as you then have a pretty good idea of who is where. Plus, you can view the race control programme from a PDA wia Wi-fi, and if you have a good pit crew then they will keep you informed through the race.

On a separate matter, when are we going to see a review of the Hong Nor on the site? If you want any help or setups drop me a PM and I'll do my best to help.
