Default lipo receiver pack in 12th scale
I know this is not a normal topic but I need some wiring help. I have a 12th scale car that I am running an LRP sphere, futaba R603FS receiver, novak 6amp BEC, and a Team Losi 7.4v lipo pack from a micro-t. I have been using 2 on/off switches and would like to eliminate one of them.

So I did some testing and I run into the issue that the ESC is pulling power from the reciever pack if the 4-cell pack is not plugged in. I have pulled the red wire from the ESC connection to the receiver and still this happens. Can anyone lead me in the right direction to elminate one on/off switch without having the ESC pull power from the receiver pack?
