Back to the original problem.
IP address is 169.254.160.195

This indicates that it is set to DHCP but that it was unable to pick up an IP address from your home hub. The 169.x.x.x is an IP address that is self assigned on failure of the DHCP process. Why it fails is odd. I have no experience with homehubs.
How many other devices do you use that are connected to the homehub?
Are you sure (as you can be) that you have associated with the home hub?
As suggested you could use the "ipconfig /all" command on a working windows pc to get the settings to manually enter in your ipod. You would need to choose a different value for the last octet (set of numbers) in the IP address.
