if you got the axle high, to roll center will move closer to the center of gravity. it will also make the car "hanging" more in the suspension, that means some kind of smoother, but there will be more dynamic weight difference between the front wheels-more understeer entering the turn, but less exiting it.
the axle lower makes the car more twitchy, but it has due to bigger lever between c.g and roll center more turn in, because dynamic weight difference between the front wheehll is less. ( more bj4 style entering a turn)

So you change the steering knuckles over, I will try that but do you still need to put a spacer above the caster block as the ball joint will not screw down fully?
