I bought one the first day they arrived in the UK,i have been into largescale for over 15 years and the HPi 5b is the best thing out there for the money.It runs for over 45minutes on a 7oOml tankfull of normal unleaded petrol (with a squirt of 2 stroke oil) ,it is very very reliable and will not shake itself to bits like the old FG stuff(i still have FG`s too)
They are good for over 50mph and for something weighing about 10 kilo`s is plenty of oOmph
,they handle great,they jump/fly and land suprbly and will provide plenty of hours of RC FUN if not totally abused.
There are loads of bling and/or hop up parts available from many many manufacturers including HPi `s own brand hopups.
They are competative in standard trim(out of the box) i managed to finish 10th over all at last years BRCA offroad Nationals,securing the clubmans class victory
I love mine to bits.I would recomend trying one,i am sure you will like it
