Sounds pretty stiff to me. I run a non worlds BX, so I'm not sure how my setup would work, but one of the guys at my track runs a worlds car and this is his setup.

Front:
Shocks inside tower-middle arm
Black Yokomo springs
#1 AE pistons
35 wt AE oil
0 limiting
Camber link outside/top - standard ballstud on carrier 0 washers
3 .030 washers under the camber link mount
Carriers up (pin in bottom hole on carrier)
Carriers shimmed forward
0° toe
-1.5° camber
Diff set pretty loose
Ride height arms level

Rear:
Shocks second hole from outside on tower - outside/bottom arm
Blue Yokomo springs
#1 AE pistons
30wt AE oil
.030 limiting
Standard shock tower
Camber link outer hole on camber plate - inner hole on hub 0 washers
1 .030 washers under the camber link mount
.5° hubs
Hubs forward
Arms forward
0° anti-squat shims
3° rear pivot pointing up
-1.5° camber
Rear diff fairly loose
Ride height bones slightly above level

Also, you say hard packed dirt, is that dry, or is there moisture in the dirt? Is it clay, or topsoil? You might try to dial in with tires first.
